The Turn - Painting Reproduction
"Strokes on strokes"
Reproduction of original painting by Josh Davis, depicting the magic + beauty that is Pinehurst No. 2.
About the Painting:
The Turn was painted by our homie Joshua Davis, a Raleigh-based art teacher who is almost as addicted to creating as he is teeing it.
"In painting, I try to capture the truth of a place or experience. This one was the biggest surface I’d worked on in years because the feeling demanded it. I remember the defeat I’d felt after a long eighth that included a double hit (before the rule change) out of a fairway bunker set up by a misguided layup. Several bad decisions and double bogeys on the front had me down, but a wait and a few beers at the halfway house behind 9 tee as a single played through settled my focus. We got a chance to stare at the shortest 3 shot hole on the course for a moment and I started to have some good feelings. It was a nice respite before heading back into the storm. I vividly remember knowing it was important to take all of these feelings in and to be present. After my 7 iron found trouble left, I was back in the fight looking at an impossible shot over a trap that I knew wouldn’t hold the turtle back green. Still, there was nowhere else I wanted to be. The grass island we found ourselves on included the 10th tee and another chance to fight the good fight."

International shipping costs are volatile in current markets and sometimes may be higher than what was originally calculated/charged. We will contact you if this is the case and reserve the right to adjust your order if need be. Due to high shipping costs, framed prints are not able to be shipped internationally.
Standard production time is 2-3 days on printed goods. Due to customs, shipping time + tracking for international orders is out of our control once it leaves the US, and we are not able to see updates on our end.
Please be aware, local customs may charge additional import fees/duties for you to receive your package. We do not have insight into what this may be as it varies country by country. Be sure to contact your local postal service provider to learn of their fees, policies and regulations before purchasing if you are outside the US.
Return Policy:
We stand behind our quality + craftsmanship. Our packaging is designed to deliver our products and artwork to you damage-free (but sometimes shipping carriers are rough!). Please take care when unboxing to avoid damage when flattening or removing. We recommend keeping your prints in their original packaging until they are ready to frame. If your order arrives damaged, please document with photos and email us -- we will work with you on a replacement.
If you are unhappy with your order within 30 days of purchase for any reason, we will work with you to gather feedback and do our best to make it right. We want you to be stoked with your purchase and to connect golf + home!
We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom artwork due to the mutual approval process as well as the time and materials required for design and production on our end.
